Depending on how much bone loss you have had in the area, either implants or partial dentures can be done. A consultation at the dentist with a radiograph can determine which one is best for you.
If you still have enough bone then implants. If not you may need a bridge or removable dentures.
Missing back teeth can be replaced with partials, bridges, and implants. It depends on where the missing teeth are, the bone health, overall health, and patient finances. I don't recommend replacing 2nd or 3rd molars if you can maintain the first molars. The cheapest way to replace back teeth is with a removable partial denture.
Implants are ideal, but not everyone has sufficient bone structure. Removable partial dentures have worked well for many over the years and are a fraction of the cost.
It is important to replace teeth that are missing in the back of your mouth. This is where the great majority of your chewing occurs. Missing back teeth can be replaced either with removable Bridges or cemented in bridges. Cemented in bridges require either some teeth to be present, or implants to be placed. Removable Bridges to not require the presence of any of your natural back teeth.
Implant, brigade, or partial denture.
