What can my friend with cancer drink?

I have a friend having chemo for bone cancer. She is drinking a boost every day. Another friend told her to drink Pedialyte, is it ok to drink both every day?

This is ok. Pedialyte is more for hydration and Ensure or boost would be more for nutrition. Make sure to get plain water in there as well.
It is ok. Pedialyte is more of a hydrating solution (like having an IV in with fluids). "Boost" is more to for calories, proteins, helpful if one is not able to eat well, and losing weight.
If your friend can tolerate both it will be best, that way nutrition and hydration with electrolytes will allow her to tolerate better her chemotherapy treatment
Yes its a good idea to drink Boost or Ensure to help the person with protein intake. It will help their immune system as well. Pedialyte is good too if they have issues with dehydration. Basically, drinking healthy juices and water to keep healthy is the best.
Anything that rehydrates you and contains electrolytes would help. Mostly, you need to avoid high-sugar drinks. Depends on the chemo, but the most common side effect is vomiting, so it’s important to rehydrate.
