“What can you do after hip replacement?”

First, total hip replacement is not a wise choice of treatment for hip pain/tightness, unless hip joint is damaged enough no longer functioning as a hinge. Pain/tightness only comes from strained injury of  muscle/fascia outside the joint which has pain sensation. Pain and its associated tightness is unrelated to the hip joint because the joint has no pain sensation. After joint replacement, the muscle/fascia injury causing pain/tightness remains untreated and now still must be treated. The only effective way to resolve injury is done internally by the body itself via light touch to initiate self-healing, but not by any external means such as medications, heat/cold therapy, electrotherapy, manipulation, massage, stretching, strengthening exercises, etc. Surgery adds another injury to the hip and must be treated as well, using light touch but NEVER stretching/strengthening which worsens the injury. After your hip replacement, surgery has healed and your surgeon gives you clearance you can do anything you want
