What causes itching of my tear duct area?

I have an itchy tear duct.

Usually a low-grade infection. See an ophthalmologist.
In general, itching is due to allergy. The tear drainage duct is in the nasal corner of both the upper and lower eyelid. Itching there can also be caused by eye medications. See an ophthalmologist. SO
