What could be the cause of severe and frequent headaches?

I've been experiencing frequent and sometimes severe headaches. What could be the underlying cause?

There are multiple reasons for severe and frequent headache, some could be migraine, cluster headache, among many others. However, severe and frequent headache require immediate medical attention, it could be a hemorrhage inside the head, it could be ( tumor/growth) inside the head. Again, such severe frequent headache would require immediate medical attention and help from your physician
It can involve a multitude of causes. Without more history it is difficult to pinpoint. I suggest you talk to your primary doctor or a Neurologist to have you evaluated. Start with a scan of your brain to rule out serious life threatening causes. Get a very detailed history and physical examination and further testing as necessary.  Once you have a clear history of the cause then set up a treatment plan. Good luck. Dr F.
