It might be a good idea to get a referral from the primary physician to go to a speech language pathologist and get an evaluation.
Good Morning,

Thanks for reaching out. If you have concerns regarding a stutter, you should seek out a speech language pathologist to discuss the specifics. You mentioned your child is a toddler. It can be quite common for young children to go through a phase of stuttering as they are acquiring language skills. It may not be something that needs to be addressed, but without knowing the specifics I would suggest speaking more with a SLP.
Find a pediatric speech-language pathologist who specializes in stuttering. Stuttering is common in toddlers (called "developmental stuttering") and toddlers often grow out of stuttering. However, it's important that you and your child's other caregivers learn strategies to minimize the impact of the stutter to help him grow out of it.
A speech language pathologist.
You should take him to a neurologist for an evaluation but also he probably will recommend a speech/language pathologist to work with strategies to help him. Good luck and best wishes, Darrell Lauer
Your pediatrician and maybe a speech therapist
I would ask your pediatrician if they can give you a referral if they believe it's a problem or if you feel that it needs to be evaluated.
