What does the hospital do for allergic reactions?

I have an allergic reaction and want to visit the hospital. What does the hospital do for allergic reactions?

Dependent on your symptoms, treatments might include injectable epinephrine, antihistamines, inhaled medications and in some cases steroid medications.
Usually the hospital will asses you in their ER and if needed, they will give you epinephrine. The best evaluation for an allergic reaction is to visit your allergist and do some testing to find the underlying cause. Hope this is helpful. (www.TulsaAllergyNews.com)
