What food should you avoid if you had bariatric surgery?

I am a 40 year old male. I want to know what food should you avoid if you had bariatric surgery?

The Surgeon should have given you a pamphlet. It depends on the type of Bariatric Surgery.
The number one thing to avoid is carbohydrates. Our body can make glucose out of all foods so we don't need to add it. Follow the list of foods your bariatric surgeon advised including all vitamin supplementation.
He should try to stay away from carbohydrates, sugar, and fatty meals.
I am not a bariatric surgeon so you should follow your bariatric surgeon's recommendation, but generally, avoid foods that are high in carbohydrates and fats. This will help in your weight loss.
Thanks.
Fatty foods and those high in carbohydrates may cause dumping syndrome after surgery. Try to avoid beverages that are high in calories. Also avoid drinking and eating at the same time (eat first, then drink). Avoid straws and carbonated beverages. Make sure you are getting enough protein (at least 60-80 grams per day). Make sure you are drinking enough water (at least 64 oz every day).
