Urologist (Pediatric) Questions Hypospadias

What happens during a pediatric urology follow up?

My son had surgery to fix a bladder defect when he was first born, but now he's going for his first follow up. Would this follow up be invasive? What should we expect? He needed to have surgery for hypospadias.

So, did he have hypospadias and bladder defect surgeries? For hypospadias, they will only look at it with no invasive mess. Even for bladder defects they may at the most do ultrasound if bladder. I do not think they will do any invasive stuff.
Usually a followup is quick and just looking at the wound. He may have to have an ultrasound of the bladder. But if invasive tests were to be done they usually schedule these in advance.
