If you do have an eye infection, the question that needs to be evaluated by an eye doctor is what type of infection is it, and what treatment, such as an antibiotic is best? I would strongly suggest that you see an eye doctor in order to find out the cause and the treatment which will also be based upon your age, your health, medical conditions, and current medications that you are using.
