Go see your dentist for an adjustment of your dentures. Chances are that sore spot will not go away by itself, unless the denture is adjusted. Until you can see your dentist, rinse with warm salt water every 2 hours to sooth the sore.
You should have a dentist look at it. Could be a number of things.
Sore gums from a denture usually indicates the denture needs to be adjusted by a dentist. While waiting for your appointment it may be best to leave the denture out to allow any swelling of the gums to subside and only use the denture while absolutely necessary, for eating purposes. It is advisable to use salt water rinses to allow the gum to heal faster. It is also helpful to use a denture liner (can be purchased on amazon or any pharmacy) to eliminate sharp spots and any areas of discomfort.
