Hi there,

There are a couple of exercises that can be done to improve this condition, however to determine which one, you need to get evaluated. The majority of people with this condition recover with conservative care ie. adjustments of the ankle/foot, soft tissue therapy, and at home exercises.

Thank you for the question.

Sincerely,
Dr. Morales, D.C.
Use a golf ball underneath the foot. Roll it forward, backward, and side to side to work out the fascia.
Hello 27-year-old male,

Concentric exercises for the calf muscles are the best in conjunction with myofascial release on the bottom surface of your feet.
Stretch your calves as much as possible. This is one of the keys to plantar fasciitis. Also, go to a practitioner that does ART. www.activerelease.com and hit find a provider.

It is important to stretch the muscles of the lower leg to help plantar fasciitis. Proper arch support is crucial as well.
