This is a very open ended question:
Veneers are great options for restoring great esthetics, an amazing smile for the right patient, These are usually ones with discolored teeth, chipped teeth, flourosis, hypoplasia, or patients with smaller teeth and generalized spacing. It involves minimal to no prep on the surface enamel and bonding lab-manufactured pieces of ceramic on teeth that build a beautiful looking esthetic smile. At our office we offer digital smile design that allows patients to preview their future smiles, before we make any permanent changes. More details specific to your mouth can be provided by your dental provider.
Consultation – Your dentist checks your teeth, talks about your goals, and sees if veneers are right for you.

Preparation – A small amount of enamel is removed from the front of your teeth (usually very thin).

Impressions – The dentist takes a mold of your teeth to custom-make the veneers.

Temporary veneers – You may get temporary ones while waiting for the final veneers.

Placement – The permanent veneers are bonded to your teeth with strong dental cement. The dentist checks the fit and makes final adjustments.

What issues can veneers help with?
Discolored teeth that don’t whiten with bleaching

Chipped or broken teeth

Worn-down teeth

Gaps between teeth

Slightly crooked or uneven teeth

Misshapen teeth

Veneers are mostly used for cosmetic improvements, not major dental fixes. They work best when your teeth are generally healthy.
Veneers are thin shells, usually made of porcelain, bonded to the front of teeth. The process involves consultation, tooth preparation (light shaving), taking impressions, and final bonding of custom veneers.

They effectively address:

- Discoloured or stained teeth
- Chipped or worn teeth
- Misaligned or uneven teeth
- Gaps between teeth
- Minor shape or size issues

They offer a natural look and long-lasting results.
1. What is the process for veneers, and what issues can they address?
Veneers are ultra-thin shells (porcelain or composite) bonded to the front of teeth. The typical steps are:

Consultation & planning: Shade selection and digital/mock-up to preview results.

Tooth preparation: A conservative amount of enamel (0.3–0.7 mm) is removed.

Impression & temporary veneers: A mold is taken and temporary shells placed.

Laboratory fabrication: Porcelain veneers are crafted off-site (1–2 weeks).

Bonding appointment: Veneers are tried in, adjustments made, then etched, bonded with resin cement, and cured.

Final polish & follow-up: Ensures fit, bite, and aesthetics.

Issues veneers address:

Discolored, stained, or tetracycline-affected teeth

Mild to moderate chips and fractures

Small gaps (diastemas) and uneven spacing

Slightly misaligned or irregularly shaped teeth

Worn or eroded enamel
