Hello,

We are fortunate to have a lot of good options for treating type 2 diabetes. A complete evaluation is needed before making any recommendation, as there is no one-size-fits-all in this case.
I would love to see you in the office. Please call (512) 387-4224 or visit our website to make an appointment.

The cheapest one is portion control on the diet. Think small portions meat with lots of veggies. Then exercise. Avoid sugar.Think of your body as a car. You want to take good care of it. And the risks of not taking care of yourself with diabetes is blindness, strokes, kidney disease…. And those do not reverse once you get them. So take care of yourself:)
Depending on severity, body type, other medical issues that may or may not be there, your primary care doctor will recommend treatment. It can include significant lifestyle changes and/or one of 5 categories of oral medications, 2 categories of injections and/or insulin. All the best. Regards, Tanvi.
