What type of surgery is done for bone cancer?

I am a 45-year-old female. I was diagnosed with bone cancer. I want to treat it. What type of surgery is done for bone cancer?

First off I am so sorry about your diagnosis and I am sending positive, healing energy your way. There are different types of surgeries available for different cancers of the bone. I would, however, ask an orthopedic surgeon, as this is the specialty that would be addressing your condition.
It depends on the details but resection of the bone with or without reconstruction is common.

Removal of the bone, normally by an Orthopaedic Surgeon.
There is generally no surgery for bone cancer, unless it is in an extremity where removal / amputation of that limb may be necessary. This type of tumor generally is treated with chemotherapy
