As soon as it starts interfering with your life/functioning.
You should pursue a medical consultation with a psychiatrist when your ability to function on a daily basis is being negatively impacted. Also, I’d you feel distressed by daily life or a particular stressor, I suggest that you also work with a therapist to help you identify your sources of
stress and learn ways to manage them.
Sorry to hear that you get stressed too easily.  Psychiatrists, generally prescribe medicines.  Is that what you are looking for?  In case you want to learn how to manage stressors in your life, without feeling overwhelmed, then I would suggest that you find a licensed psychologist to learn to manage your stress constructively. In case you are in FL then contact me. Take care and remain safe.
