Why do my other teeth hurt after wisdom tooth extraction?

I had a wisdom tooth extraction yesterday. Other teeth next to it hurt now. Is it normal?

Yes, it can happen that the teeth next to wisdom teeth get sensitive after, due to bone on the back of the tooth in the front of the wisdom remodeling and can expose the root sometimes causing sensitivity. It should get better with time though.
Hope that helps.

Assuming that no adjacent teeth were damaged, you are probably experiencing referred pain. It is quite normal and should go away within a few days.
Sometimes your dentist needs to push against the teeth next to your wisdom tooth to help lift it out. It can make them a little sore for a few days. In a addition to this, you could be experiencing something called referred pain. This is when one location (the spot where your wisdom tooth was extracted) can lead to another location (your other teeth) to be sore. You’ll be sore for awhile and this is pretty normal after an extraction. Just give it time to heal and if it persists, schedule an appointment to see your dentist again.
It is normal to have some pain/swelling from the tooth extraction lasting at least a few days. The nearby teeth may seem to be hurting due to their proximity to this swelling/healing surgical site.
The teeth next to it hurt because they got bruised. To get a tooth extracted, the dentist has to exert a lot of force and pressure to expand the bone. During that process, it applies a lot of pressure on the surrounding teeth, which then in turn can be sore for a couple of days after.
