Ligament laxity.
It depends on where it is popping and when it is popping. In most cases, however, some popping and clicking in hand joints is totally normal.

This can occur because of misalignments of the wrist and hand joints. There may also be tightness in the forearms which are causing altered movement patterns in your hand. I recommend going to a Chiropractor to fix these issues.
There are many reasons why your hand may pop. In most cases it is secondary to gas deposition within the joint and this is nothing to worry about. If the popping is secondary to an injury or is associated with pain, then I would recommend you see a physician.
