Will a tooth abscess go away with antibiotics?

I am a 28 year old female. I want to know if a tooth abscess will go away with antibiotics?

Antibiotics will clear up the immediate symptoms. However, there was something that caused that abscess to develop. Without treating the original cause, the infection and abscess can return or become worse. Antibiotics are only part of the treatment, contact a dentist any time you have an abscess and get a professional recommendation for the treatment you need. Do not try to treat an abscess at home with leftover antibiotics!
The effects of antibiotics on an abscessed tooth are temporary at best. Treatment via root canal therapy or extraction is the only lasting treatment.
