Yes, antibiotics can kill the microorganism. Now, you must follow your doctor recommendations. If the medication is given for seven days, make sure you take it those seven days. Thank you
Yes. If it is your first kidney infection, one dose of antibiotics is sufficient. If you're getting recurrent infection, your urine needs to be cultured to identify the organism, so that you can get the correct antibiotic treatment.
Antibiotics can be very effective in helping the body eradicate a kidney infection, depending upon the type of infection.
Yes, antibiotics can treat a kidney infection. Kidney infections or pyelonephritis can be a potentially dangerous condition with multiple complications. Seeking medical help immediately is strongly advised.
Yes antibiotics will treat a kidney infection. However if you have repeated infections you may need to see a kidney specialist such as a urologist.
Depends on the infection. It would have to be classified to know how to treat it.

Antibiotics are used to treat infections. There are different antibiotics for different types of infections. Using the right antibiotic, for the sufficient duration of time, you will successfully kill a "kidney infection." Urinary infections are classified as lower infections (Bladder infection) or upper infections (kidney infection). The upper infection is more dangerous and would require IV antibiotics initially, and longer course of treatment in comparison with lower urinary tract infection.
The urine needs to be cultured for pathogen and drug sensitivity then the correct antibiotic would be prescribed.
Yes. You have to be on the right antibiotic for the bacteria that you have.
