Yes. I treated a patient just 1.5 years ago who was only having one bowel movement a month! She had been evaluated by doctors and was taking all kinds of medications... But after two treatments, she was having every other day if not daily bowel movements. Acid reflux responds well in my experience also. Yes, I would recommend Oriental Medicine (which includes acupuncture). If you decide to tray acupuncture, make sure you start with a fully trained acupuncturist (not an MD or Chiropractor that did minimal hours of training to get a license).
Yes, acupuncture and herbal therapy assist greatly with digestion. This is a more simple digestive issue to correct. We may make some dietary suggestions as well.
Dyspepsia and gastric acid reflux are really well cured diseases. In order to digest well, it is necessary to secrete alkaline digestive juice neutralizing gastric acid, which is pancreatic juice and bile. This kind of gastrointestinal disease is really well treated as a Acupuncture and herbal medicine, so please take care of it.
Yes. Acupuncture can help regulate the bodies systems and enable them to do their best work. This includes digestion.
Acupuncture can help with all digestive issues. There are points to help with symptoms such as acid reflux and bloating. However, it also seems that your stomach may not have enough acid. With the acid reflux, that is a trickier thing to fix but dietary changes with proper nutritional support could help to heal any damage done by the reflux. The next step would be getting the rest of the body more alkaline and the stomach more acidic- that would eventually help with the bloating as well which is happening because the stomach is not acidic enough to digest the foods.
Acupuncture may be very helpful for your slow digestion. Chinese herbal medicine and dietary and lifestyle changes may also help with your issues. I suggest visiting a local Licensed Acupuncturist to have an initial consult and see if acupuncture can help you.
A slow digestive system can be caused by several different factors. At our clinic, we would begin with a Chinese pulse diagnosis to determine which organs are involved. Then we would correct it with acupuncture. We have also had much success with bloating and acid reflux.

Acupuncture is excellent for all digestive orders. Digestion is a key component of health in traditional Chinese medicine and there are a myriad of ways to really tailor treatment to specific needs. In my practice digestion and it’s disorders come up in someway with almost every patient. I utilize various supplements and herbs, as well as my knowledge of diets and nutrition to get my patient’s digestive system back on track.

One of the conditions that Acupuncture can be very fast to help is digestive problems. Most patients can tell the different even after after only one time Acupuncture. In many cases of digestion problems, we need to give the patients some food and nutrition advices and some cases they need Herbal medicine as an additional help.

Yes, acupuncture can help with digestive problems by regulating the metabolism and the digestive functions. Often, digestive disorders are due to stress, and acupuncture is very effective to relieve the symptomatology because it acts at the level of the autonomic nervous system. Usually, acupuncturists also prescribe natural medicine to support their treatments. Combined, acupuncture and herbs are very effective to regulate the digestive system.

Absolutely. Digestive disorders are a common problem corrected by acupuncture. All three of the symptoms you mention are very likely the result of the same syndrome in Chinese medicine, one which is fairly easy to correct.

Digestive disorders respond very quickly to acupuncture and Chinese medicine. The calming aspects teach the body not to react extremely to the many forms of stress (emotional, chemical/environmental, physical) and thus the gut is appeased.

You should certainly attempt acupuncture for your issues. Understand first of all that a slow digestive system can be a sign of thyroid disorder possibly, so in depth testing by an Acupuncturist can be helpful. Acupuncture and Chinese herbs can help you with reflux and bloating as well.
These are typical symptoms I see in my clinic and will certainly improve with acupuncture and some eastern dietary guidelines. Your digestive power will also improve acupuncture.

Yes. To cure any disease, you have to find the cause. Acupuncture can find the cause to treat the disease.
Absolutely! I would also recommend you find, and start taking, a good food enzyme formula. That by itself can sometimes take care of the problems you mention.
Acupuncture for digestive disorders is underrated. It means that acupuncture works well with GI issues. Sometimes, we will add Chinese herbal medicine depending on the severity of conditions.

Absolutely. Acupuncture can help to regulate your entire digestive system. We can also work with your diet to support the treatments.
I have had wonderful success with a variety of patients who complained about each of the issues you mention. The situation would have to be differentiated for the practitioner to know the best treatment to use in your case. Absent any major issues (tumors, physical abnormality, etc) acupuncture and herbal formulas should be able to reduce or help relieve the problem. Be sure to go to a Licensed Acupuncturist for proper care.
Acupuncture needels are placed on your stomach and some distal acu points for half an hour to help the flow of Qi or energy. Also Consult with a licensed herbalist to prescribe some herbs to ease your condition. Cut back on alcoholic drinks, sugar, sodas, high saturated fats, spicy foods, meat. Drink more fresh water and exercise. Consut with a functional medicine doctor as well to reverse the cause. Thanks
I most definitely would recommend Acupuncture for your condition. It does sound like you have some digestive imbalances which Acupuncture works very well for. Digestive issues can be caused by many factors which can lead to symptoms as you are experiencing. An Acupuncture Physician can help you figure out the root cause of your digestive issues and get it resolved. Seek the help of a Licensed Acupuncture Physician in your local area and get the help you need. Good Luck!
