Antibiotic Schedule?

I was prescribed antibiotics for epididymitis. I am supposed to take 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. If I generally sleep during the day and am awake at night, Should I adjust the antibiotic schedule or continue taking as the pill label instructs?

You may adjust the timing of taking doxycycline to fit your lifestyle as long as being taken at some 12 hours apart so as to maintain a stable drug blood concentration without side effects like stomach upset. Of course, you may check/confirm any doubt in mind with the prescribing doctor for sure. Best luck with medical care.

Dosing is twice a day, about 12 hours apart. Can be 3 am and 3 pm if you wish.
Usually, that means one pill twice a day. A couple of anabiotic’s for epididymitis might be affected by food, so just watch the instructions if you were to take them with food or on an empty stomach.

As long as you take approximately 12 hours apart, it should be good. Actual time is not as important.
Continue the same. Add scrotal support at work.
