Pediatrician Questions Ear pain

What is the best way to treat my toddler's ear pain?

My toddler loves being in the swimming pool and often ends up with ear pain after splashing around in the water. The pain comes and goes in both ears. What can I do to ease her ear discomfort?

Wear ear plugs, make sure there is no wax "swimmers ear" there are drops over-the-counter.
You can mix rubbing alcohol and white vinegar 1:1 and put 2-3 drops in each ear. This will evaporate the water out. You can also blow dry the ears with the hair dryer.
