Hematologist-Oncologist Questions Calcium

Is calcium supplement sufficient for osteoporosis at the age of 31?

I have been detected with low bone density in my latest reports which are indicating osteoporosis. I am 31 years of age. Can I reverse my condition by regularly consuming calcium at this age?

I am not sure that calcium alone is sufficient. Taking it with Vitamin D and pursuing a regular exercise program would be important. On recheck of your DEXA scan after a year you should see improvement in the bone density or switch to another medication.
