Can I give my 1 year old children's Motrin?

My baby is 1 year old. I wonder if I can give my 1 year old children's Motrin?

Ibuprofen should be safe for a one year old as long as their kidneys are ok
Yes, after 7 months you can give children’s Motrin.

Yes, it is generally safe to give a 1-year-old ibuprofen, brand name Motrin. The dosing is weight based, so ask your pediatrician for the proper dose. Ibuprofen is generally safer than acetaminophen (Tylenol) as acetaminophen is a liver poison if taken to excess. Ibuprofen is eliminated by the kidneys and is not recommended for children (or adults) who have kidney
problems. It also can increase a risk of bleeding, so may not be recommended for things like head trauma and such. As a rule, try to avoid giving ibuprofen for fevers that are not causing
discomfort, for mild pain/discomfort that can be relieved with non-medicinal treatments, or for "general principals." All medications, including ibuprofen, have the risk of side effects.
