Depending on your job, you may want to avoid infecting your clients or your co-workers (as long as you have a discharge from your eyes).
Viral pink eye is highly contagious. You may need to stay at home while symptoms are at their worst. Contact your ophthalmologist to determine when it is safe to go back to work.
Hello,

You would 1st need to see your Ophthalmologist to diagnose your eye infection. Many times a bacterial infection may be present. Without an official diagnosis, I am not able to answer your question. Once seen by a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, he/she will easily be able to give you instructions.

It's best to avoid other people and not to infect them
