Can a child get a flu shot at a pharmacy?

My son is 8 years old and I want him to get the flu shot. Can he get a flu shot at a pharmacy?

It depends on the pharmacy. Different pharmacies have different policies for children receiving vaccines there.

Many pharmacies offer flu shots for kids, but keep in mind, the experience level of pharmacists varies widely. I would rather have a shot given by a nurse with years of experience, rather than a pharmacist who had a one hour in-service.
