Can a spinal injection cause nerve damage?

I am a 34 year old female. I wonder if a spinal injection can cause nerve damage?

It is not clear what type of spinal injection you had. Most injections for pain management such as Epidural steroid or others are generally done under fluroscopic guidance, which should prevent injury to the nerve, however, it is a possible complication of "spinal injections" in general.
Very unlikely but possible
Possibly, but very unlikely. A spinal needle is very thin, and, when used by a physician anesthesiologist, it is usually very safe. However, nothing in medicine is completely safe. You are at more risk of a serious injury when driving to the hospital than when having a spinal anesthetic.
It's rare. But spinal anesthesia can cause nerve damage
