“Can BP medicines cause chest pain?”
I am a 45 year old woman and I have been taking BP medications for the last six months. These last two days my chest has been feeling heavy along with a slight chest pain. Could it be a side effect of the BP medications that I am taking?

Unlikely. But it could be angina – if it's made worse by walking uphill you should see your GP urgently.

No, not likely, would get a good history, physical exam, blood tests, and echocardiogram, and go from there, but no.
