ā€œCan chiropractic care help shoulder tendonitis?ā€

I am a 26 year old male. I wonder if chiropractic care can help shoulder tendonitis?

yes
Chiropractic is mostly concerned with the spine and not shoulder tendinitis but most chiropractors know how to work with that issue. Iā€™d suggest you call before making an appointment and ask if they are comfortable treating shoulder tendinitis.
In the meantime try ice therapy and corrective exercises and see if that helps.
Yes. Chiropractic can help with shoulder problems like tendonitis. First, an examination should be performed to determine the actual cause of the tendonitis. Is it impingement syndrome causing inflammation to drop onto the biceps tendon? Is there muscular imbalance causing abnormal stress to the tendon? Are there abnormal motion patterns of the three joints associated with the shoulder? The cause needs to be addressed to fix the problem, otherwise symptoms are just being masked to return again and become a chronic problem. Find a good chiropractor and/or physical therapist to get this fixed.
Take care and be well.

With our particular techniques we use, we tend to get great results with shoulder issues. They can take time to heal as the shoulder joint is very unstable to begin with.
Doctors of Chiropractic (DC) are licensed doctors who does diagnosis and either preforms and/or recommends treatment. That includes all areas of the neuromuscular system. The question is what is causing the problem with the area and that requires diagnosis. Diagnosis can't be done without an examination. If the cause is appropriate and responsive to conservative care then Chiropractic care with it's many therapeutic treatments is important and appropriate. Even if the problem has a permanent and/or structural component the treatments may still help, but may not totally eliminate the underlying cause. Don't wait to have the examination, as the sooner the problems is detected and treated the better.
Yes, I recommend seeking a sports Chiropractor who will be able to identify the exact structure involved, and treat it appropriately. Physical Therapy can also be very helpful for tendonitis.
Yes, about 80% of the time.
