Chiropractor Questions Chiropractic care

Can chiropractors help with hip pain?

After an injury at work, my hip has been hurting me already for 3 months. I don't really know what to do. Can chiropractors help with hip pain?

Absolutely. We typically get great results with hip pain in our office.
Yes! Absolutely yes! but first I need to know exactly where you pain is. A lot of patients complain of hip pain and then when asked to point to it, they point to there SI joints which are located more towards you back. That is a entirely different animal, but still can be corrected through effective Chiropractic care.

If your pain is more located towards outside of where your hip is, then an experienced chiropractor that does extremity adjustments may help you immensely given there is no major degeneration going on. If you haven't already done so, I would suggest an X-ray of the effect region and then take it to a Chiropractor in your area with a good reputation, he should be able to evaluate it and determine what is going on, whether he can help or not, and refer you to someone who can if he can't.
Yes, it helps with all kinds of pain. Keeping the nervous system cleared of interference gives you better health and less pain. Depending on pain, if arthritis, etc. it will get better but maybe not 100%
Most chiropractors are capable of identifying the cause of hip pain. Depending on the extent of the injury, chiropractic can be your best option.
