Can chiropractors straighten my spine?

Yes, definitely! Chiropractors are the only professionals with years of specific training on doing exactly that. Every time you receive a spinal adjustment, a bone that was restricted in motion can move again which helps your spine to be aligned or straightened. These small changes often lead to bigger postural changes over time. Make sure you convey your goals to your chiropractor so they know what you want to improve. That way they can work with you to achieve your goals and help you to understand if your spinal curvatures contribute to your symptoms or not.
Absolutely! Chiropractors work on every vertebrae to make sure it has a correct alignment. Each vertebral segments can be misaligned in many different way such as flexion, extension, rotation, or lateral bending. They use appropriate tech to place each segments alignment back correctly by adjustment of your spine by utilizing their hand or instrument such as activator. It is all pain free.
I hope this is what you mean by straightening of your spine.
That’s a great question! That depends on what is going on with your spine, hard to tell without seeing you in person, but chiropractors have had great success with straining spines in the past. I’d recommend a consultation to talk with a doctor, and an exam and maybe even some X-rays to see what’s going on!
Hope that helps!

Depending on why it's "not straight," then probably. We help with scoliosis and a number of other issues though!
The chiropractic adjustment can help straighten the spine when combined with proper rehab work as well. It works great alone, but better with postural exercises done in conjunction with.

Yes, they can, but it takes time and patience. There are three things to ask: Is it possible to straighten, reduce or keep from advancing. These are important questions because there are different kinds of spinal curvatures. Simple, rotatory, functional and non-functional. Age is also a factor. I have resolved curvatures in children less than 12 years old in as little as six months, but a person your age has taken 12+ months. Periodic X-rays should be taken at least every 3 months to document progress and to revise the treatment protocol if needed.

Chiropractors can improve the function of your spine and recommend exercises to keep your spinal curves balanced. In the case of scoliosis, rehab exercise programs are the most effective way to straighten the spine.
