Can diet shakes result in weight loss?

I still feel hungry after drinking one. How can I lose weight while drinking shakes and eating food. How do diet shakes work?

Diet shakes are meant to replace food. If you are wanting to lose weight, just change the food you are eating to raw fresh food instead of processed, sugar filled and salt laden food. Eat nutrition dense food instead of empty food. Diet shakes are NOT the solution!
Try making your own shake or smoothie using a high quality protein powder, water or some type milk (dairy or non-dairy, depending on your sensitivity to dairy) and make sure to include some fat (coconut oil, nut butter, avocado). The fat will help you to feel more full. Fat does not make us fat, it actually helps us to burn fat. Higher sugar or carbohydrate in the shake can make you more hungry and cause weight gain.
In my opinion, diet shakes do NOT work. Drink more pure water such as distilled water or spring water, or water from a six step reverse osmosis system. Drink a minimum of 64 ounces. Avoid diet sodas and sodas. Eliminate processed foods such as deli meats and breads. Eat more vegetables and some fresh fruits. Avocados and apples are excellent foods for weight reduction. Raw, unsalted nuts such as almonds and walnuts are excellent for snacks so long as you do NOT eat more than 10 per day or each.
