Never heard of it.
Yes, if you have infected gums from bacterial inflammation
Yes, it can. Orange juice is acidic, and some people's gums can be more sensitive to the acid. It also depends on a person's oral hygiene, general health and other nutritional habits.
The citric acid in OJ can cause pain at the gum level, especially if the gums recede.
There is a reason the gums are hurting when you drink citrus drinks the acid can hurt the gums when they are inflamed. I advise you to see your dentist for the cause of inflammation of the gum tissue.
Orange juice is very acidic and very sweet. It depends on how often you expose your teeth to it and how long, if you sip it over time. It is possible...

It should not cause any gum pain if you’re drinking orange juice. However, if there is gum infection and exposure of the roots, drinking something cold can trigger pain or become sensitive. Having sensitivity or pain is a warning sign that there is something going on. Visit to your dentist is a must.
Hi

Drinking orange juice can cause sensitivity to the teeth if your gums have receded. If you are feeling gum pain from drinking orange juice, you should see your dentists to evaluate the health of your gums as this should not be normal.
Hope it helps.

Actually orange juice has vitamin C, so it will help you make collagen. good for gums
Orange juice is acidic and has a high amount of sugar, therefore, it can cause gum pain if you have had trauma to that area. It can also cause tooth pain due to the fact you may have a cavity in the tooth, which can be feel like gum pain.
Normally no. If you haven't had a dental cleaning in a while it is most likely your gums are inflamed and the orange juice aggravated them more. I would contact your dentist for a closer evaluation.
