Can local anesthetic make you feel sick?

I am a 40 year old male. I had a procedure under local anesthesia yesterday and now I feel sick. Can local anesthetic make you feel sick?

Less likely.
Reactions to local anesthesia usually happen after injection, within minutes...maybe one hour. But 24 hours, no. You should call your doctor. Maybe you are incubating something.
Generally speaking, surgery is traumatic to one’s body. Have you considered that is what makes you feel under the weather?

Just local anesthetic will not make you sick, but if you had sedation with it, it can cause nausea. If you were prescribed narcotic pain medication, they can cause nausea as well.
