Hand Surgeon Questions Plastic Surgery

Can plastic surgery soften hand wrinkles?

I am a 58 year old female and I have hand wrinkles that don't match my face. I feel like I look 45 but my hands don't. Can plastic surgery soften hand wrinkles?

No absolutely not
Oftentimes placement of fat in the back of the hands will improve the quality of the overlying skin due to the presence of stem cells in the fat. The fat also rejuvenates the hands as the fat transfer revolumizes the hands and makes them look younger.
It’s possible. I would recommend you first consult with a cosmetic dermatologist.
Good luck!

There are surgical procedures and injections that can be helpful for wrinkles in the hands. I would recommend you consult a plastic surgeon who specializes in hand surgery as well.
