I am a 27 year old female and I am really curious about surgery itself. I wonder can you be awake during surgery?

If your surgery can be done with a spinal anesthetic, an epidural anesthetic, or a nerve block, then you can be awake for your surgery.
Depends on what the surgical requirements are for your procedure. You can't watch your own surgery even if you are awake because of sterility and positioning requirements. If you want to see the surgical details of your planned surgery, you should search the Web for such a video.
Awareness during anesthesia is rare. But yes, could happen.
