Can you feel a cavity under your tooth?

I am a 20 year old male. I want to know if you can feel a cavity under your tooth?

Sometimes, if it is at close proximity to the nerve.
Yes. If it's big enough.
Yes usually to sweets and/or temperature.
Large cavities are traditionally painful or at least sensitive. Unfortunately, this usually means the likelihood of you needing a root canal is much higher. It's best to get to cavities prior to you being able to feel them.

Usually not. Occasionally, you may have pain.
More often you can not.
The answer to this is you may be developing a dental infection. See a dentist to get it looked at.
Yes it is possible. Usually if you clench your teeth or bite on a hard food you will feel pain on release/when u open. Sometimes foods like chocolate, sour patch kids, gummies can also cause discomfort. If this is happening you should schedule an appointment with your provider.
