Can you live a normal life after heart transplant surgery?

I am 47 year old female. I want to know if you can live a normal life after heart transplant surgery?

Normal is relative. Take it one day at a time.
I would say you can live a good life after a heart transplant. One has to deal with the issues of infection, rejection, graft coronary artery disease, and the complications from the immunosuppressive drugs. These are managed by your transplant cardiologist. Overall, more than half the recipients of a heart transplant live at least 10 years.
You can have a normal life. But you will be taking anti rejection medications. Sometimes you may feel uncomfortable.
