Can you see bronchitis on an x-ray?

My son has bronchitis and may have an x-ray. Can you see bronchitis on an x-ray?

NO.
The bronchial wall has inflammatory changes in bronchitis. These may appear as thickening of the bronchial wall on CT scans. These changes, if they can be seen, are compatible with a diagnosis of acute or chronic bronchitis.
