“Why does my son get a cold after playing in the sun?”
My son always seems to get a cold after he is outside all day in the sun. What could cause this?

If he gets nasal congestion after being outside, he may have an allergy to inhaled pollens. Sometimes Claritin or Zyrtec OTC may help. If he actually has a cold, this is viral and can occur at any time.
