My daughter hikes a lot and I noticed that she had a tick on the back of her leg. We were able to remove it, but now I'm nervous that she'll be diagnosed with Lyme disease. What symptoms do kids present?

Children can have the same signs and symptoms as adults with Lyme disease. Additionally they may have more subtle symptoms such as difficulty sleeping, visual problems or light sensitivity, and cognitive or behavioral issues such as poor concentration, anxiety, restlessness and even paranoia or hallucinations.
