Do you feel anything before your water breaks?

I am a 27 year old pregnant woman. I want to know if you feel anything before your water breaks?

You might feel a subtle pop or ripping sensation followed by leakage, or nothing. Also, may or may not be preceded by contractions. Each pregnancy is different, even in the same person.

Certainly, when you are in labor, your bag of waters can break anytime. However, if you are not in labor, there is typically no symptoms that someone feels before you break your bag of waters.
I hope that this helps.

Not all pregnant women break their water before they go into labor. You could have contractions or you might not feel anything at all before you break your water. Definitely pay attention to water leaking from the vagina, it’s not always a gush of liquid.
Safe pregnancy!
