“Do you need to bring your child to the doctor if they fell off their bike?”
My 7 year old fell off his bike onto his right side yesterday. He now has arm and leg pain. Do you need to bring your child to the doctor if they fell off their bike?

It depends on how bad the fall was. I would recommend taking an x-ray if he is unable to move the muscles around the injured area this usually means that there is a fracture
Depends, most common is bruising and why it hurts but it is always good to have it checked out by a professional in case there is a broken bone.
It is always a good idea for kids to get checked by a chiropractor due to frequent falls and rapid growth of the body. Chiropractic adjustments help to promote the bodys natural functions.
If you suspect the possibility of a broken bone, then I would. If it's just bruises, then that should resolve.
If a 7-year-old child has fallen off a bicycle and has some type of pain and discomfort I think it is imperative that they were seen by their pediatrician or in the family primary medical physician. The sooner this can be done to more appropriate treatment would be or there may be no problems, but one needs to be evaluated at that age.
Yes, if the pain is continuous with little relief and difficulty performing normal activities. The child needs a medical evaluation with possible x-rays.
If your child is having pain in his arm and leg after falling off of a bike. I would recommend to have him evaluated by a pediatrician to make sure that there is no significant injuries.

If the child does not respond to supportive care, especially if there is a great deal of swelling and pain, then a trip to the doctor may catch something early before complications make it more severe.

If something doesn't look right, if your child continues to complain of pain and swelling or things are getting worse, then definitely take them to the ED.
