I am a 29 year old male and I have TMJ. Does an oral surgeon treat TMJ?

Some do and others don't. Make sure you are seeing a board certified OMFS and simply calling their office to ask would let you know.
Yes, oral and maxillofacial surgeons can and do provide treatment for TMJ disorders.  TMJ disorders can have a variety of symptoms with a number of different etiologies.  Treatment provided may be dependent upon the clinical, radiographic and other diagnostic findings, as well as the treatment modalities offered by the treating surgeon.
