Hello. Liposuction is like exercising. If you do it properly, you lose the weight in that region. However, if you over eat, it may return, never to that extent, but it may. If you have any further questions or inquiries please visit my website at Drroya.com. Good luck!
We have a fixed number of fat cells in our body since we are children. The fat cells which Are removed during liposuction are gone permanently. However the fat cells which remain can get larger if you gain weight. However since there are fewer fat cells in the area that was suctioned most of the weight gain will occur in areas that were not suctioned

In the area where the lipo is done, the fat does not usually come back.

It can. Maybe not in the areas you had suctioned. Suctioning of fat does not give you a pass to disregard calorie intake. If you have a very good result from suction, take it upon yourself to keep it that way. Exercise, calorie restriction, and just being SMART!!
If you eat more calories than you burn, the fat cells present will grow
No, fat does not grow back or return after liposuction. In fact, liposuction removes fat cells permanently and the remaining cells do not divide to produce more fat cells. This is what makes liposuction a powerful tool, it has the ability to permanently destroy fat cells. Call for your consultation today!

After liposuction, there will be some scar formation that may reduce fat lay down in that location, but fat can still develop if there is enough of a caloric or hormonal stimulus. In either case, it should be less than the initial fatty volume.

You can always gain weight after lipo. Once the fat is removed, fat will be deposited somewhere. Let's say you have fat removed from your tummy --- that fat was between the muscle and skin -- if you gain weight, fat may then be deposited around your intestine, or butt or breasts. It will have to go somewhere. Where you had the fat removed, it should not come back, but liposuction does not stop someone from overeating and gaining weight.
