I am a 25 year old female. I want to know if folic acid helps to get pregnant fast?

No. Folic acid plays a role in. Rural tube development of the fetus which sets in even before you know that you are pregnant and that is the rationale behind recommending folic acid to women who are trying to get pregnant.
It prevents birth defects but does not increase fertility.
Short answer is yes. It also helps to prevent back bone defect in babies.

Folic acid, or folate, is Vitamin B9. Taking this vitamin while you are trying to get pregnant and during pregnancy decreases the risk of neural tube defects (malformations of the brain, spine and spinal cord) in the fetus. All women of child bearing age who are having heterosexual intercourse and not using birth control should be taking at least 400mcg of folic acid daily. Some women may be advised to take higher doses depending.
Folic acid supplements do not help a person get pregnant but they were very good thing to take while your trying to get pregnant or as soon as you know you are pregnant to decrease the risk of certain birth defects mostly in the spinal area. All prenatal vitamins do contain extra folic acid and I always recommend for my patients to go ahead and start them even before they become pregnant. Some providers even recommend additional folic acid along with the prenatal vitamin. You can purchase folic acid over-the-counter. An extra 1 or 2 mg very safe. Would advise you to reach out to your medical provider to see what they recommend. Good luck.
Hello. No folic acid helps with development of the fetus not with getting pregnant faster.
Not really a pregnancy enhancer, but it's helpful when you achieve pregnancy.

No but it helps to prevent birth defects and miscarriage.

I would love to tell you that folic acid (or any vitamin for that matter) can get you pregnant faster, however, there is nothing that you can buy over the counter that can get you pregnant faster. I wish that this was the case, however, nothing really can help you get pregnant faster except to have intercourse when you ovulate.
