It depends on type and location where it is injected for example if used for spinal anesthetic it can cause low blood pressure and we have to watch it .If it is injected locally to remove a mass or carpal tunnel surgery than it doesn’t effect blood pressure.
Local anesthetics if properly used do not affect blood pressure. However, some local anesthetics have epinephrine mixed in that can cause elevated blood pressure and heart rate if there is accidental vascular injection. Also, some local anesthetics in high doses can cause heart rhythm changes if injected into the bloodstream.
Maybe due to stress, and if a vasoconstrictor is added.
