Does surgery for Lordosis work?

My 14 year old son was diagnosed with Lordosis. I want to know does surgery for Lordosis work?

There are many degrees of severity for lordosis so depending upon severity surgery may be a good option.
Lordosis is a normally occurring curve in the lateral view or sagittal plane in the cervical and lumbar spine. In otherwise normal children, rarely if ever is treatment indicated. Certainly not surgery.  Core strengthening exercise may be of value in the presence of back pain.
In some neuromuscular conditions, particularly cerebral palsy, lordosis may be excessive and be one of the indications to consider surgery.
