Not just fruit smoothies can help you to control weight. It involves eating habits and routine exercise. You have to give up pizza, donuts, hamburgers, sodas, processed drinks, and processed food.
Frankly, weight loss depends upon your overall calorie intake . If you blend some fruit with no- fat yogurt for a less-than 200 calorie drink, you might find it helps avoid a high- calorie snack.
Or, if you substitute a fruit smoothie for a meal, a fruit smoothie may well help you manage your diet for the day. A more complex fruit smoothie can contain nutritious calories: fruit plus fat-free yogurt or fat-free milk, combined with other nutrients such as spinach, flaxseed or other fiber, and avocado. But calories count! A 500 calorie smoothie is not a snack, but can be a healthy, filling meal.

If the smoothies are part of a healthier diet, it is possible. However, fruit has a lot of sugar and calories and when it's blended up into a smoothie, you could be eating more than you normally would if you were just eating the actual fruit. Keep an eye on ingredients if you aren't making the smoothies yourself, there can be added sugars and other things making the
smoothies very high calorie.
They can, but they can also add to weight gain depending on what else you are eating.
Based on my experience fruit smoothies contribute to weight gain. They do NOT help with weight loss. Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits. Avoid sodas, diets sodas and fruit juices.
